How to backup my site in SaaS

To create a site’s backup in Saas, we must be logged-in in the backend with the site’s administrator user.
Once logged-in we go to Settings -> Control Panel, and select the "Export Site" option:

We will get the screen shown below

We then confirm to start the generation of the site backup. When ready, to download, click on the "Download" button.

The downloaded file is equivalent to what results from Exporting a Portal on an installation of our own.

Once downloaded, it may be imported to any installation with the same version. We may also use this to create another site based on this one. Read how to do it at
