How to define a site with HTTPS
The most correct way would be to have it configured at domain level and that the folders are set to “inherit.”
In migrated sites this is not usually the case because if they had HTTPS this was configured in the folder (in 6.2 it would be the root folder), and at the domain level the default value is “no.”
The property “Request HTTP URLS as HTTPS” doesn’t affect the site protocol directly.
What this property does is indicate that if the site is secure and the page has an HTTP URL (an embedded application, for example), it should be requested as HTTPS instead of HTTP as stated in the URL.
